Konstantinos Stavros
Chief Executive Officer
Konstantinos founded CS Tanker in 2002 after a distinguished career at one of Greece's largest shipping groups, where he served as Vice President of Fleet Operations. Under his leadership, CS Tanker has grown from a single-vessel operation to a 36-vessel fleet with offices in Piraeus, Singapore, and Houston. He holds a Master's degree in Maritime Business from the World Maritime University and is a member of the Greek Shipping Cooperation Committee.
Maria Papadopoulos
Chief Operating Officer
Maria joined CS Tanker in 2008 after an 18-year career at sea, culminating as Master on VLCC crude tankers. As COO, she oversees all aspects of fleet operations, technical management, and HSEQ. Her hands-on experience at sea gives her an unparalleled understanding of the operational challenges facing our crews. She is a strong advocate for seafarer welfare and leads CS Tanker's enhanced welfare programme.
Andreas Nikolaou
Chief Commercial Officer
Andreas brings over 20 years of tanker chartering and energy trading experience to CS Tanker, having previously held senior positions at major commodity trading houses in Geneva and Singapore. He manages CS Tanker's commercial relationships with international oil companies, national oil companies, and trading houses. His deep market knowledge and extensive network have been instrumental in securing long-term COA arrangements that underpin the company's financial stability.
Elena Christodoulou
Head of Technical Management
Elena is a qualified naval architect with a PhD in LNG vessel design from the National Technical University of Athens. She joined CS Tanker in 2012 to lead the technical management team, overseeing dry-docking programmes, newbuilding supervision at Korean and Japanese shipyards, and the fleet modernization programme. She has been the driving force behind CS Tanker's EGCS and BWTS installation programmes.

Former partner at a leading maritime law firm. Expert in international shipping law, flag state regulations, and maritime arbitration.
James Whitfield
Independent Non-Executive Director
Former Managing Director at a major energy trading house. Brings deep expertise in energy markets, commodity trading, and risk management.

What distinguishes CS Tanker's leadership is that most of our senior team have worked at sea. Our CEO, COO, and Head of Technical Management all began their careers as seafarers — and that experience shapes everything about how we run this company.
We understand the realities of life at sea. We know what it takes to safely navigate a 330,000 DWT VLCC through the Strait of Hormuz, or to manage a complex LNG cargo operation in sub-zero temperatures. That knowledge informs every policy, every investment, and every decision we make.
It also means our seafarers know that when they raise a safety concern, it will be heard — because the people at the top of this organisation have stood exactly where they stand.
