
CS Tanker Takes Delivery of CS Persian — Newest VLCC in the Fleet

CS Tanker has taken delivery of CS Persian, a 330,000 DWT VLCC built at Hyundai Heavy Industries, Ulsan.
CS Tanker is pleased to announce the delivery of CS Persian, a 330,000 DWT Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) built at Hyundai Heavy Industries' Ulsan shipyard in South Korea. The vessel is the most technologically advanced in our fleet and represents a significant milestone in CS Tanker's ongoing fleet modernization programme.
Technical Specifications
CS Persian features an eco-design hull optimised for fuel efficiency, an electronically controlled MAN B&W main engine, and a comprehensive suite of energy-saving devices including a pre-swirl stator and a high-efficiency propeller. The vessel has achieved a CII Grade A rating — the highest possible under the IMO's Carbon Intensity Indicator framework — and is equipped with an Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (scrubber) and a Ballast Water Treatment System.
Operational Deployment
CS Persian will be deployed on the Arabian Gulf to East Asia crude oil trade route, operating under a long-term Contract of Affreightment with a major international oil company. The vessel's 330,000 DWT capacity makes it ideally suited for the large-volume crude oil movements that characterise this trade route.

Fleet Expansion Context
CS Persian is the third new VLCC to join the CS Tanker fleet in the past four years, reflecting the company's confidence in the long-term fundamentals of the crude oil tanker market. The vessel brings the total CS Tanker fleet to 36 vessels across three categories: 12 VLCC crude tankers, 6 LNG carriers, and 18 product tankers.
